Ormond Scenic Loop & Trail

Come experience a unique and special part of old Florida you won't soon forget!

Ormond Scenic Loop and Trail (OSLT) is a 34 mile double loop of roadways traversing some of the most beautiful and diverse natural scenery remaining in all of coastal central Florida.  There is ready access to the Atlantic Ocean, North Peninsula, Bulow Creek and Tomoka State Parks. The roadway view includes vistas of rivers, creeks, marshes,  dunes, and beaches.

You can see those natural features balanced with over 300 years of history including The Casements, the winter residence of John D Rockefeller.

There are several unique opportunities to view rare and protected wildlife on the beach, May-September is marine turtle nesting season and December-April the right whale migrates off our coast to birth their calves.

Recreational opportunities abound with numerous parks and trails offering boating, fishing, hiking, swimming, bicycling, beach walking, and much more.
